When Agnès Thurnauer grows up, she wants to be… an artist! It’s lucky she turned out to be one and now she can repeat the same mantra to her readers. Don’t look out for her self-portrait among these pictures, even if maybe it does appear in her references to great painters and well-known subjects. Her fascination for the word, otself a drawing waiting to be coloured in, defines all her art: showing and telling at the same time, delighting the eye and making you think.

Within Agnès’ broad definition, being an artist means being creative, expressing yorself, going beyond your limits in both heart and mind, all for the sake of others. And you, apart from being an expert at coloring, which artist would like to be?
