On the occasion of signing the Manifesto from the French Coalition of Foundations for the environment (CffC), the Fondation Thalie is thrilled to participate in the Réveil Climat#15 focused on the link between “Art and Climate” to present the discussion format Creators Facing the Climate Emergency.
Launched in December 2020, the podcast Creators Facing the Climate Emergency brings together artists, thinkers, and scientists every month to construct new narratives, raise awareness, and act when faced with climate change with artists as mediators.
We are happy to present the content of this program and its development along with Fondation Groupe EDF and Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso.
Hosted by the Fondation EDF, the event Reveil Climat#15 will give the floor to foundations and endowment funds committed to supporting artists that work on environmental issues. The event will also include a visit of the exhibit “Faut-il voyager pour être heureux” (May 20, 2022 – January 29, 2023, Fondation Groupe EDF) that questions the idea of travel and mobility during today and tomorrows challenges with artworks from 32 contemporary French and international artists.
Initiated by the Center of French Foundations in 2020, the French Coalition of Foundations for the environment (CffC) intends to mobilize, in an unprecedented manner, the French philanthropic sector. It is calling all French foundations and endowment funds – no matter their mission, their size, or their legal form – to commit to the issues of climate change. The CffC stands by the actors with the same initiatives in their fight against climate change, by enhancing the value of the actions put in place and bringing together the necessary resources.
Réveil Climat #15 “Art & Climat” is on July 7, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
