The House in Brussels

It’s in a modernist house from the 1920s, not far from the Avenue Louise in Brussels, that the Fondation Thalie has imagined this place dedicated to creation.
With a comtemporary art collection, the Foundation welcomes an artist residency and a multidisciplinary program around the visual and culinary arts, performance and literature.
An exclusive  venue in the heart of the art galleries district and close to Ixelles’ ponds.

Built in 1924 by the architect Jean Hendricks, the house has been completely renovated by the architects duo Vanden Eeckhoudt – Creyf in a contemporary style while preserving the architectural spirit of the place.

The Fondation Thalie welcomes artists in residence throughout the year. Between two sessions, the venue offers accommodations as a guesthouse accessible to all audiences.
Special rates are granted to cultural institutions’ actors.
