On the occasion of the OFF Program of Art Brussels, enjoy a guided tour of the solo exhibition Kiki Smith, Inner Bodies led by Founder and curator Nathalie Guiot.
Inner Bodies brings together some thirty works by the American artist dating from the 2000s and highlights the plurality of techniques she uses — tapestry, drawing, bronze, porcelain. It is also from the 2000s that Kiki Smith stops questioning the interiority of the body and turns her attention to the living world and the cosmos and mythologies as her predominant themes.
This visit will review the career of this artist inhabited by questions of feminism and deconstruction of gender, and the curatorial choice of the exhibition.
